Sustainable Intensification of Smallholder Farming Systems in Zambia (SIFAZ)

SIFAZ is a four- and half-year project aimed at intensifying sustainable farming systems in Zambia. The 12 Million Euros project is financed by the European Union implemented by FAO and targeting to benefit over 16-thousand farmers in 27 districts. It is aimed at addressing the challenge of climate change through promoting climate smart agriculture systems, with a special focus on research in agricultural development, farm mechanization, conservation farming and agricultural marketing systems.
