Market-Oriented Rice Development Project (MOReDeP) supported the Zambia Agriculture Research Institute (ZARI) to conduct the Annual Rice Researchers Meeting in 2024. A total of 24 rice researchers gathered in Lusaka from various areas in Zambia and presented the results of their research carried out in 2023/24 season. We could see the rice research in Zambia has been clearly advancing!
Also, a tasting of new rice varieties under registration was conducted. Those new varieties are expected to contribute further growth of the rice production in Zambia!
