Post Harvest Handling Vital For Food Security

“I am privileged as a farmer to adopt conservation agriculture, and at the same time learn how to take good care of my produce after harvesting,” a Chipata farmer, Philemon Lungu proclaims.

  He is a youthful farmer in Kanyanja Agricultural Camp in Chipata District, Eastern Province, whose crops stand out flourishing despite the prolonged drought that occurred last farming season, resulting in crop failure in most parts of the country.
