NCZ Distributes Inputs


Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia (NCZ) Marketing and Public Relations Manager says, out of the 106,406.75 tonnes, 47000 tonnes of D-Compound fertiliser has been delivered to various districts in the country.

Changwe Mupeta Says that according to projection and requirements by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAL) complete delivery of D-compound fertiliser

to the rest of the districts is set for august.

He says NCZ has delivered D-Compound fertiliser to over 40 district in the country.

Mupeta adds that delivery of D-compound starts with areas which receive rainfall earlier, such as Luapula, Northern, North-Western, Central and Copperbelt Provinces.

He said NCZ is hoping delivery of fertiliser will completed by end of September to in order to have enough time for distribution to the farmers.

He appealed to the government to sign the contract for the next season immediately distribution is completed in order for NCZ to prepare adequately for the next distribution, to avoid late delivery. - NAIS
